Saving Plots

A plot's data, including normal and constant drawings, can be saved to a file through the pop-up menu (Save Data) or using the !plot.save filename instruction. Analog plots are saved as *.mpja files (digital are *.mpjd). The saved files is not associated with the software and can only be loaded by using the Load Data from the pop-up menu.

Plots are saved to the Interface's directory by default.

An image of the analog plot alone can be saved using the !plot.snap filename instructions. The default directory is the Interface's directory. To change this to a different default directory, such as snapshots folder, change snapPath to /snapshots for example or specify in the filename.

Data can be logged using the Logging Control or manually using !writeFile filename, data (typically use a .txt or .csv file, include \n for new line or \t for tabs). The written file may be opened with !fileOpen filename (If associated, will open in the appropriate application).
